Day 55 Assignment

1. Make a list of your typical wastes and their volumes. See where you might be able to decrease their production.
2. For wastes that can’t be avoided, begin thinking of ways to reuse or recycle items in on-farm projects and start today.
3. If you have a septic system, especially if your leech field gives problems, consider converting to a reed bed.
4. Aim to recapture 100% and upcycle of the waste organic materials that are created or brought onto your farm.
