- Climate: Colombia has a very good climate for growing, averaging 77°F. Unlike Belize, frost isn’t uncommon in higher regions. Careful research into local climates is necessary when planning your system.
- Water: With a gross average of 55 inches per year, Colombia has sufficient rainfall for year-round harvesting and storage.
- Growing Seasons: Sub Tropical growing seasons. Good climate makes for relatively easy food growing.
- Power: Solar power is quite viable in Colombia, though there are cloudy days and weeks, similar to Belize.
