Day 17 Assignment

1. Test your garden or farm’s soil for clay content and see if it is high enough to seal ponds without liners or amendments.

2. Roughly estimate how much water catchment your property can collect.

3. Build a small swale in your garden or in your fields. Perfect your technique.

4. Extend your swales, no matter how small a parcel of land you have—even micro-swales are beneficial.
