Consider what sources of high carbon waste you have available to you easily in your area for free (wood chips, sawdust, paper etc.).
Calculate how much fuel you use per year to het your home, fuel your vehicles, and cook. Some or all of this could be replaced using wood gas.
Calculate how much electricity you use per year and consider if powering your home with a generator and battery bank would be feasible or make financial sense.
