1. Consider if your current home power supply could be supplemented by wind power.
2. Take a wind reading from your roof; a small turbine might be a viable supply.
3. Research online if there are any zoning laws from erecting a turbine on your property.
4. Consider wind power in conjunction to solar and other renewable power generation to fully supply your needs, either where you live now or in your future homestead.
